The Pierce Middle School Library's mission is to promote a love of reading and provide resources to support the school's commitment to educational excellence. We encourage students, teachers, and parents to make active use of the library, including the use of traditional and new information technologies, and we support teaching, learning, and researching in an intellectually and culturally open environment. Our ultimate goals are to create a positive experience for all school community members and advance student achievement to the highest level.
Students are welcome to the library immediately before school and after school during Library Club, which runs Monday-Thursday until 3:25pm. Students are also encouraged to ask their teachers for a pass to visit on their own to exchange books or research areas of interest.
Checkout limits: 3 books per person
Students may check out books for 30 days. After 30 days, students can renew titles as many times as needed (unless the book is on hold for another student). Overdue notices are sent out once a month.
