Short US History Videos The Glencoe/McGraw Hill Companies publish a commonly used US History
textbook titled The American Journey Modern Times. To accompany that
textbook Glencoe/ McGraw Hill hosts an online video library containing
more than five dozen titles. The video library begins with titles about
Antebellum US History through the beginning of the 21st century. Each
video is two to three minutes long. The videos can be viewed online even
if you haven't purchased the textbook.
The Animated Gettysburg Address A new video featuring a recitation of the Gettysburg Address while
text and images illustrate the themes of the work. The imagery starts
out slowly, but really gains momentum around the midpoint of the video. A
great tool to use with your students during their study of the Civil
War.
